Ingredients
  

  • 16 gram Szechwan peppercorns
  • 10 gram Cinnamon, Whole
  • 9 gram Cloves. Whole
  • 5 gram Fennel Seeds, Whole
  • 5 gram Star Anise, Whole

Instructions
 

  • Gather all of your spices
  • Weigh the spices in a bowl.
  • If your spices are whole use a spice grinder or mortar and pestle to grind them. If your spices are already ground, blend them well.
  • Put your fresh new Chinese Five Spice into a spice jar and label appropriately. Keep cool, dry, and out of sunlight. Freshly ground spices will last from 6 months to a year in the right conditions.
